Grenochase 2024

Welcome to the 2024 Greno Chase. The race is a 2.9 mile romp around Grenoside Village. With a history going back to the 1870s, the race has one of the best atmospheres outside of a major city race.
A not for profit race, raising money for Sheffield based charities, this community event takes place over two laps of the crowd lined streets of Grenoside, who'll be cheering you on the whole way.
The race is aimed at all levels of runner, from competitive racers to 'couch to 5k' graduates. Regardless of your level, you'll all get to experience the same buzz of the crowd.
Food and drink stalls, music in the village, plus a number of busy pubs keep the atmosphere going late into the evening after the race.
Unlike other races, in a throw back to our history, separate trophies are awarded for club and unaffiliated runners, plus there's an open team event.
Online entries only. There will be no pay on the day entries. Open to ages 14+ . Unfortunately, we cannot allow dogs to accompany runners.
